Guaymas ~ San Carlos Chapter “SCMAR”

The AMPI Guaymas ~ San Carlos Chapter is a guarantee for Professionalism, high standards of ethics, transparency and the dedication to education to all its associates. All members of AMPI Guaymas ~ San Carlos Sector are members of SCMAR, the San Carlos Association of Realtors are licensed Realtors in the State of Sonora, Mexico. They are committed to serve with honesty, integrity and professionalism. Dedicated to protect the public whom we represent and to raise the level of the Real Estate industry to its highest standards in Mexico. AMPI Guaymas~ San Carlos Sector is affiliated with the San Carlos Realtor Association.
The State of Sonora has been working with AMPI National and AMPI Guaymas ~ San Carlos for years. Many of AMPI Guaymas ~ San Carlos (SCMAR) Members were the first to go to the Mexico Real Estate School and become licensed Realtors in the State of Sonora Mexico. There is a process which requires an agent to attend 100+ hours real state course, called “Diplomato”, then obtaining fingerprints and a background check, obtaining a “no criminal record” report, make the application to PROFECO (similar to the Better Business Bureau in the U.S), submitting documents to prove they’ve complied with tax requirements, provided documentation of immigration status that agents are legal to work in Mexico, and obtaining current status in the State of Sonora real estate agent “Registry.
Members are required to pursue continuing education classes and have pledged to uphold strict ethical standards set forth in the AMPI National Code of Ethics & the United States NAR (National Association of Realtors) Code of ethics & our local SCMAR code of Ethics and standards of practice.
Our proactive Real Estate Association in Guaymas ~ San Carlos also promotes unity among Real Estate Professionals as our community continues to grow into an International Tourist Destination of Sonora, Mexico.
